The Schmidtke GbR bakery can now look back on a long tradition. But I bought the delicious cake there when I was a schoolboy. A crumble snail cost 0.10 marks in the 1960s. An eclair - love bone 0.25 marks. At the time, the quality of the aforementioned bakery was very good. The continuity in terms of the quality of the bread and confectionery products has been kept at a high level to date. Since the present case is a family business, I can definitely confirm that all the nice employees, at the time the grandma, the nice wife of the master baker, was also head master of the baker's guild, they were all always friendly, helpful, hard-working, courteous and above all very valuable. My favorite baker! They have great bread and pastries here, which you can't get everywhere.

The poppy cones were rock hard and very dry. (Unfortunately I had to dispose of it) The remaining rolls and cakes were ok.

The best rolls in all of Potsdam! The bread is also highly recommended (whole grain meal is my favorite). There is also a baker who opens his door at 6 a.m. As you are used to from a real craftsman. I am happy to have a self-baking master right on my doorstep.

It is not as great as one might think after reading the reviews, which are barely able to cope with the existence of a bakery shop. With rolls and white bread, the West German rule of "crunchiness" (outside rock-hard crust, inside a lot of air) has won the day. The croissants are also dry as a fist. I can't say anything about the cake and dark bread. The lady behind the counter is difficult to understand because of her accent and loud radio playing. PS: The evaluator H. Hartl spreads stupid stuff, modern German fakenews. There are still two private bakers without branches in Potsdam (Braune and Schröter) and branches of at least four other small businesses, including from Töplitz and Werder. I recommend Lenz, Zillmann and Kabodt. PS2: Do you know any other word for taste besides "delicious"?

Saturday morning 9:30 am, pretty bombed out, a few different dark rolls, Schrippe, Kaiser rolls, poppy seeds taken When I was eating I wasn't sure if the rolls were from the same day ... they were definitely dry but bone ... the best was the croissant ... The day after the rolls were no longer edible - maybe grated as bread crumbs ... The next day went a corner - was much better ...

Speak for the Babelsberg store: sales assistants friendly and eager. Cake ok to delicious depending on the variety. You should leave bread rolls. Bread when fresh is very good. However, I received bread from the previous day repeatedly without warning - not considering the higher price.
